This project was my first real personal project, I made this during the summer before my first year of college in 2025. This was my cahnce to test my skills that I leared throughout high school and apply them to a real-world project. I learned a lot about the design process, prototyping, and how to integrate different systems together and really get a taste of what I can do.
- In Inventor I designed the robot arm while a very simple desing at the time my focus was on make sure every part made sense so it could funtion in the real world.
- I had also spent that summer learning how to use Arduino and C++ to program the arm to move in a specific way.
- I also really wanted to imporve on my wiring skills so I spent a lot of time learning how to make diagrams in KiCad which would allow me to turn this into a real PCB board and not just have to use breadboards and jumper wires to connect everything together. I learned a lot about how to make a PCB board and how to make sure it was designed correctly so that it would work in the real world.
